Over 20 teams from high schools across Northeast Ohio will fight each other, gladiator style, with 15 pound combat robots that they've built with help from local businesses. It doesn't get more real than this. Don't worry, the combat arena will protect you from shrapnel.
Over 20 middle school teams will pit their ingenious 3 pound beetle weight bots against each other and see who can do the most damage in the Junior Bots division.
It's free to attend and all ages are welcome. For more information (including how to volunteer, how to sponsor, or how building bots helps northeast ohio fight the skills gap) contact AWT.
